The Nuge

Ted Nugent is being urged to run for NRA president. I'm not a member of the NRA. Yet.

I like Ted's views on the 2nd amendment. This might help with my decision to join.

I would vote for him.

Happy birthday to me!

Tomorrow is my birthday but I started celebrating it today. The world's greatest bosses let me have today off of work. I went shopping. I didn't buy anything. I have no money. But....

I now have access to a Nintendo Wii. It's not mine but I am allowed to use it. I can use it as much as I want and it didn't cost me anything. Sounds like a good deal.

My dad and mom made me my favorite cookies. That was great, a real surprise. They are soooo good!

Tomorrow will be just as good or better!

Overwhelming support?

This is what I'm talking about.

I don't believe Obama has the support of the majority of the United States. This map shows all the counties that John McCain won in this past election. Red is for McCain.

The liberal news media can kiss my butt.

I hope Obama fails. I want his liberal, socialist agenda to fail. I don't want the government to take care of me.

Check out Big Hollywood today

Check out Andrew Breitbart's Feelin' the Healin' post on Big Hollywood today. These are the ignorant celebrities that influenced young people to vote Obama.

No wonder we are going to Hell in a Handbasket.

This sums it up

This pretty much sums up how I feel about Obama and the new administration. Supposedly this comes out of London. Amazing how other countries see it and we don't.

I think people forget that about half of the United States didn't vote for him. So he doesn't have overwhelming support like the news media would have you believe.

Inauguration Day

Today is the day Barack Obama is sworn in as the 44th president.

I'm going to miss George Bush. He was a good president. And he is a good man, a humble man. I wish him well.

I think people need to let Obama actually do something for the country before we give him so much credit.

No one man is going to save this country. Take responsibility for yourselves, take action. Quit whining. It's no ones fault but ours.

I like Kid Rock

I like what Kid Rock says in this

But I think money talks. He is playing at an inaugural youth gala tomorrow.

I hope it's just for the money.

Highspeed internet out in East Jesus

Why is it so hard to get certain services if you live out in a rural area? I would like to get Comcast internet. I thought I could. I was mistaken.

Comcast has been sending out literature in reference to the digital tv transition. I received one. I was all excited that I could get 12 months free tv if I signed up for highspeed internet. I called comcast in November, I think. At that time the customer service rep(in India) said that internet was available in my rural area. I was excited. If I get comcast and can cancel my dsl that would save me about $50 a month. I decided to wait at that time to save the money to cover installation costs.

Fast forward to today. I called again, twice. Both reps said, at first, yes it is available. Then disaster struck. "I'm sorry I was mistaken. We don't offer internet in your area."

Why, in November, did they tell me it was available? I'm disappointed. Not only would I get faster internet but it would have been cheaper.

I hate customer (dis)service.

Better things to talk about

Why is it when a group of people get together the only thing they can think of to talk about is what shows they watch on tv? I like tv but I would rather talk about the present situation of the United States and the world. There are more important things.

Sheeple

Why are people so influanced by Oprah? Whatever she says, half the people in the U.S. go and do it. I think more people listen to her than listen to the Pope.

No school cuz it's cold?

I'm sorry but that is just ridiculous. I live in TN. It's not that cold. I don't understand what we are trying to teach our kids these days. Kids in the U.S. aren't getting any smarter and telling them it's okay to skip school in the cold isn't helping. From what I saw yesterday it wasn't too cold for these same kids to go out shopping or to the movies. Next thing you know these same kids, when adults, will be calling into work because it's just too cold to go outside.
